📁 How paths work:

The contents of the source directory will be copied into the destination directory.
Example: Files from /home/user/public_html/ will be placed directly into /var/www/html/

Destination Path ℹ️ Where to place the source files.

SSH Example:
Destination: /var/www/html

FTP Example:
Destination: public_html

Result: Source files go INTO the destination directory

Delete extraneous files in destination (rsync --delete) ℹ️ If checked, files that exist in the destination but NOT in the source will be deleted.

⚠️

Warning: This will permanently delete files in the destination that don't exist in the source. Only use this if you want an exact mirror of the source directory.

Preserve file permissions and ownership (SSH only) ℹ️ Usually OFF for migrations (different servers have different users).
Turn ON only if you need to preserve exact permissions.
Note: Only works with SSH/rsync, not FTP.

🏷️ WordPress Table Prefix

Table Prefix (optional) ℹ️ The WordPress table prefix from your source wp-config.php (e.g., 'wp_' or 'wpdb_').
This will be updated in the destination wp-config.php to match the migrated database.
Leave empty if not migrating WordPress or if prefix doesn't need updating.

Drop existing tables before import (fresh import) ℹ️ If checked, all existing tables in the destination database will be dropped before importing.
This ensures a clean, fresh import without conflicts from old data.
Similar to rsync --delete but for databases.

⚠️

Warning: This will permanently delete all existing tables and data in the destination database before importing. Use with extreme caution!

Update wp-config.php with destination database details ℹ️ If checked, automatically updates wp-config.php on the destination server
with the new database credentials (DB_NAME, DB_USER, DB_PASSWORD, DB_HOST).
Recommended: Leave this ON for WordPress migrations to ensure the site connects to the correct database.

📧 Email Migration Options

ℹ️ Email Migration Info:

Both source and destination must be email/IMAP connections.
Source and destination paths are not used for email migrations.

Only sync INBOX folder ℹ️ Unchecked (default): Syncs all email folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Spam, etc.) - Recommended
Checked: Only syncs the INBOX folder - Faster but incomplete migration ⚠️ Delete emails from source after migration ℹ️ Warning: This will permanently delete emails from the source server after successful transfer.
Only enable this if you're sure you want to move (not copy) emails.

Most IMAP servers use your full email address (e.g., user@example.com) as the username.
